Do you offer in-home personal training?

Do you offer in-home personal training?

No — Coresa's coaches train people at the studio on 3rd Street West, not in homes. It is a deliberate choice rather than a gap in the menu, and since in-home training genuinely suits some situations, this page gives you both halves: why we stay in the room, and when a travelling trainer is honestly the better hire.

North Vancouver does have trainers who travel, so if the second half describes you, that option exists locally.

Why our coaching stays in the studio

Three reasons, in order of weight. Equipment: a coached strength program eventually needs loads and tools that do not live in a duffel bag — the rig, the barbells, the full dumbbell run — and programming around a home's limitations means programming smaller. Environment: a room with one purpose beats a living room negotiating with doorbells and dinner prep, and the habit science quietly favours a place you go. And the format itself: our model splits a coach across a capped group, which is what makes real coaching affordable — a travelling coach is structurally one-on-one, at one-on-one prices, forever.

When in-home genuinely wins

When leaving the house is the actual barrier: new parents training in nap windows, carers who cannot step away, mobility-limited clients, and people for whom any gym threshold is currently too high. For those situations a travelling trainer is not a compromise — it is the only version of training that will happen, which makes it the best version. The full venue comparison, equipment ceilings included, is in in-home trainer versus studio.

The middle path most people actually want

Most people asking about in-home training are really asking about convenience and privacy — and the studio versions of those are better than expected: sessions booked around your week from 5 am, a room with no open floor and at most eight people, and written home sessions for the days between. If the hesitation is more nerves than logistics, the first-visit answer and a fifteen-minute consult in street clothes are the gentlest sequence in.

Common questions

Do you know trainers who travel in North Vancouver?

In-home and hybrid trainers do operate locally — ask on a consult and we will say honestly whether your situation sounds like an in-home fit rather than pretending the option does not exist.

Can a coach set me up with a home program instead?

The workouts library covers the general case, and members get homework matched to their program. A standalone home-programming service is not something we sell; online-versus-in-person coaching explains why the watching matters.

What if I split time — studio sometimes, home sometimes?

That is the normal shape for travel-heavy members: coached sessions as the anchor, written sessions on the road. It works because the studio sessions keep the technique and progression honest.
