The consult is fifteen minutes at the studio with a coach. You see the room, you say what you are trying to do, and you leave with a straight recommendation about which of our three programs fits, including, sometimes, the recommendation that none of them does. There is no workout, no fitness test, no card and no obligation.
Book it and we will reach out to lock in a time that suits you. Doors are open 5:00 am to 8:00 pm, every day.

What happens in the fifteen minutes
- You arrive in street clothes. Nothing about the consult requires training gear, and nobody is going to put you through a movement screen in the doorway.
- We walk the floor. The rig and squat racks, the Woodway treadmills, the dumbbells, the heart-rate displays, where the lockers are. You see the actual room rather than the photographed one.
- We ask what you are trying to do. Goals, training history, injuries worth working around, and the honest shape of your week.
- We recommend a program. Small group training, 1-on-1 personal training, or HIIT classes, with the reasoning, not just the answer.
- You ask anything. Pricing, scheduling, what a first session involves, how progress gets tracked. This is the part most people wish they had used more of.
Then you leave. If you want to book a first session on the spot you can, and if you want to go home and think about it, that is the expected outcome rather than a failure.
What we will ask you
Four questions do most of the work, and it helps to have thought about them on the way over.
- What would make this worth it? A number, a feeling, an event, or simply not restarting again in January. All valid answers.
- What has your training looked like recently? Including "nothing for six years", which is one of the most common answers we hear.
- What does your body currently object to? Old injuries, cranky knees, a back that has opinions. This changes programming, not eligibility.
- Which hours can you genuinely defend? The best program in the world loses to a schedule you cannot keep.
None of this is a screening process. It is how a coach avoids recommending the wrong thing.
What you leave with
A program recommendation and a realistic first week. That is the deliverable, and you get it whether or not you sign up for anything.
You also get the two things a website cannot give you: a sense of whether the room feels like somewhere you would come back to, and a face to look for when you do. For a lot of people that second one matters more than any feature comparison. If the walking-in part is the hard part, getting through a first visit is worth a read first.
The 30-day promise
Join and not loving your first 30 days? Your next two sessions are on us.
It exists because the only honest way to judge a training studio is to train in it for a few weeks, and because we would rather absorb that risk than have you carry it. There is nothing to claim and no form to fill in. Tell your coach.

Common questions
Is the consult actually free, or is it a sales appointment?
Free, and fifteen minutes. It is a sales conversation in the sense that we would like you to train here, and an honest one in the sense that recommending the wrong program produces a member who leaves in six weeks. If a format does not suit you, we will say so.
Do I need to be fit before I come in?
No, and the instinct to get in shape first is the single most common reason people delay for years. Arriving untrained gives a coach more useful information, not less. The longer answer is here.
Can I bring my partner or a friend?
Yes. Plenty of people decide better with someone else in the room, and if you are considering training together it is easier to plan that face to face. Training as a couple covers how that usually works out.
What if I would rather just book a class?
Then do that instead. Everything bookable is on the live schedule, and judging the coaching from inside a real session is a perfectly good alternative to a consult.
How soon will you get back to me?
Quickly. The form goes straight to the team, and we reach out to agree a time rather than assigning you one.
What should I bring?
Nothing. Street clothes are fine. If you want to train on the same visit, bring runners, water and a towel, and let us know when we call so we can book you into a session.
